Scenic flights over the Kimberley are available all year round. The Bungle Bungle Range, in Punululu National Park, is one of the most fascinating geological landmarks in Western Australia if not Australia. The orange and black stripes across the bee-hive like mounds, encased in a skin of silica and algae, are clearly visible as you approach from the south. As you sweep further over the range a hidden world of gorges and pools are revealed.
You can also take in the spectacular waterfalls the Kimberley has to offer by air safari. The breath taking King George Falls or the Berkley and Mitchell Falls are an imposing site in the wet season.
